3M WINDOW FILM INSTALATIONS

In the 30+ years that Solar X of Texas has been installing sun control film on homes, we have been in almost every subdivision stretching from Galveston to Huntsville with satisfied customers numbering into the hundreds of thousands.

Solar X has also significantly added to the unique skyline of the city by installing 3M Window Film Systems on many of the buildings in the Downtown area, The Medical Center, The Galleria, and Greenway Plaza. Plus, Solar X has done some of the highest profile buildings in southeast Texas including the British Consulate, Moody Gardens of Galveston, The Hotel Galvez, The Moody Mansion, The Houston Museum of Fine Arts-Bayou Bend, and The Governor's Mansion in Austin.

We also perform installations for some of Houston's most respected construction companies including WS Bellows Construction, D.E. Harvey Builders, SpawGlass, Linbeck, SpawMaxwell and Tellepsen Construction.  Solar X was chosen by the United States Military to be the installer of 3M Window Film Systems for Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, as well as numerous projects for the City of Houston.

CERTIFICATIONS

Our window film products are manufactured by 3M, a $16 billion diversified technology company.  3M holds the original film patent and offers over 35 years of proven window film performance in all climates and conditions.  3M’s window film product line includes sun control, safety and security, architectural/interior design, and anti-graffiti series of window film products.




Our window film systems are recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation of America. To earn the Seal of Recommendation, a manufacturer must prove that its product sufficiently and safely "aids in the prevention of sun-induced damage to the skin". Just by going outside we are exposed to harmful UV rays of light, we shouldn't have to worry about this exposure in our own homes and work environments.
